Hi, and welcome to another episode of Mondays with Mardo's. I'm Gerardo. Today, I'm going to share with you the best part of working in the cigar industry. All right. In today's episode, I'm going to share with you my favorite part being in the industry in three different segments, working in industry, sharing in industry and also creating. All right, so the first segment working within the industry is a lot of fun. This is an industry that is created to have a fun time. Obviously, we are lighting up the cigar to relax, have camaraderie, and there's nothing more fun to be involved in something like that. To be able to service you guys to get the cigars in your hand is a lot of fun for us. For us to go to trade shows, to seek out the best boutique cigars in the world, to travel the world, to talk to people, to get educated and putting that cigar in your hand, knowing that we tasted it, we liked it, and we want to share that with you to put a smile on your face is the best part of working in this industry.

Our staff here at Mardo Cigars, the day in the day out of getting things within UPS, opening up boxes like it's Christmas every single day, packaging everything to a meticulous way that we want to make sure that you get the cigars with the business card in there, the Boveda. We want to make sure to get everything in beautiful, beautiful packaging, and that part to me is just a lot of fun. I get to do it Monday through Friday. So thank you for your support and we'll go onto the next segment.

All right. The second best part of being in the industry is the part where we get to do some sharing. And I'm not only talking about sharing a cigar, which of course is very, very important. We travel all sorts of different places to get you the best boutique cigar brands there is. We go to trade shows. We travel the world. We talk to people. We taste cigars and all sorts of things that go on with that, but also another thing that we get to share is camaraderie. The cigar events, the handshakes, those moments that we get to laugh with each other. Those are the friendships that will not happen if we did not share a cigar.

And whenever we are smoking and sharing cigar together, all the problems of the world, they pretty much go away, all the stresses away, and we're looking for nothing but camaraderie, moments of relaxation and having a very good conversation. I have not found that in any other industry other than the cigar industry that makes sense for me. That part for me is very, very big, and I continue to want to strive to share my best moments with you guys and just get that smile on our faces, baby.

All right. Another aspect of the industry that I really like is the creation side of it. Like I mentioned earlier, love of the sharing allowed us to go down to the Dominican Republic and visit all sorts of factories to the point where we have our own cigar brand called Jake Wyatt cigars. We create every single blend. We get to select the tobacco. We get to go see farms. We get to create all the artsy part about it, the packaging, the label, the cellophane, how everything goes together. That creative side of it is amazing.

Our marketing side, my gosh, when it comes down to the mailers, comes down to the email blast every single week, the YouTube channel, our Instagram videos, the photos that we take, the team effort that we have is just incredible. Here at Mardo Cigars, we have a lot of fun creating. We have all sorts of cool things coming to you guys. We have accessories. The creation aspect of it is a lot of fun.

And another thing is, is that when we are creating, we are also building relationships with other businesses. When it comes to manufacturing overseas, or if we have to create a design team, I mean, we are meeting some really cool people and getting in touch and just loving everything that we do every single day. That is what we have to share with you this week on our video. It's a little emotional for us because we're starting to see your guys support is just really helping us out.
