Cigar Guide - Number 1 Cigar of the Year of 2021

27th Dec 2021

Hi, and welcome to another episode of Mondays with Mardo's. I'm Gerard. And this week, we're going to go over the cigar of the year for 2021 here at Mardo's Cigars. But before I get going, I need you to click on the subscribe button and click on the bell to be notified every single week of new episodes on Mondays with Mardo's.

All right. So this year, 2021, has been a special year for a lot of cigar manufacturers, a lot of accessory manufacturers. When it comes to the cigar industry, we had the Les Fines Lames bracelet that we chose to be the top accessory for 2021. Now, when it comes through the cigar of the year for mardocigars.com, we chose... Ta-da! The Jake Wyatt Herbert Spencer Corona. Now, let tell you why we chose this as a cigar of the year for 2021.

There's a lot of good cigars out there. We were very happy with Sinistro's NV that they came out with this year. The McFly came out from Oscar Valladares. Dapper came out with La Madrina Shade. Casdagli came out with the Villa Casdagli. A lot of good stuff out there... And why did we choose the Jake Wyatt Herbert Spencer Corona?

Well, this year at PCA, the Corona was introduced. And it was the epitome of what I think a Maduro Corona should taste like. It's sub $10. Corona has become a very popular size among the cigar industry as of recently. I'm going to go ahead and smoke this and tell you guys why I think it's the number one cigar for 2021.

It's new. That's great. We always want something new. Also, it is very, very boutique. It is ornate. It is very beautiful. It has the accents on the bottom and the cap of the cigar. And the taste on it is amazing. This cigar actually got revised in the year of 2021. The first time we blended the cigar, it came out very well. But as things were progressing, we felt that it was a little too mild. So therefore, we stuck a little bit of Pennsylvania broadleaf in the filler, which gives it that zest, that little kick, when you do the retrohale.

Now, the reason why we like the Herbert Spencer Corona out of all the other sizes, it does give you a little bit of that sting that we like when it comes to retrohaling. And also, it is so creamy. It's like a cup of hot cocoa when you're smoking this on a fresh palette. And it comes in a box of 22. This is product number 3138. It is available as singles, five packs, and a full box of 22 at mardocigars.com, but there are dealers throughout the country that do carry the Herbert Spencer by Jake Wyatt Cigars in the Corona.

What else can I really say about it other than it's just delicious. It's really good. It's affordable... Full-bodied flavor. The nicotine's very low on it. It's not very high nicotine, so it doesn't get you all woozy.

Anyways, I want to know in the comments if you guys have tried the Herbert Spencer Corona by Jake Wyatt Cigars. And if not, you can go ahead and order it. If you want to know how to order it, we can obviously direct you in the right direction. And if you have tried it, I want to know exactly what you think of it.

Anyways, I'll see you guys next week. It will be our final episode for 2021 until we get into 2022. But remember to follow us on Instagram, like us on Facebook, and tell your friends to go subscribe to our YouTube channel. See you guys, bye.
