Cigar Guide - Number 1 Cigar Cutter of the Year

Hi, and welcome to another episode of Mondays with Mardos. I'm Gerard and this week we're going to go over the cigar cutter of the year for 2021. All right. So we are pretty excited here. We're going to talk about the cigar cutter of the year for 2021 here at mardocigars.com. We chose the SV cutter from Colibri. I use it personally. In my cigar pouch I have one at all times. This thing does have some weight to it. You can definitely feel the weight in your hand.
Now the function, it has a little button here you slide down and it pops up the blade and therefore you can use it as a combination, so you can get a V cut and you can also get an S cut. Now the straight cut is governed at three millimeters. So therefore you can only cut so much and that's good so you don't overcut your cigar when it comes to a straight cut.
Now on the other side is the V cut. Now this is the deepest V cut that any cigar cutter that offers on the market and I like a much deeper V cut. Now, if you have a Lancero, you can go ahead and regulate how much depth you introduce into the whole of the V-cut function right here. And this cutter to me is the number one cutter. I've been using it for years.
It comes in a variation of colors. This one right here, I believe, is the black and chrome. And the reason why I'm singling this one out is when you are using this cutter, the actual feel of it feels like metal because of the top and bottom portions of this cutter. Unlike the others right here, you can see they have the black color on them. That is because it has some sort of rubber coating on it. So that is a kind of a nice function. I personally like the black on black the best, but this is what was offered to me and beggars can't be choosers, so therefore this is what I use.
Other than that, I'm not sure if I mentioned it, it's $75. It's one of the most durable cutters I've ever used and owned. So that's why we chose it to be the cutter of the year for 2021. Again, it's bold. It's heavy. It makes a statement. Anytime I hand it to someone they're like, "Oh, what kind of cutter is this?" And once they use the V cut they love the depth of it because you can get a lot more smoke. Again, Colibri, great job.
