Cigar Guide - Favorite Honduran Boutique Cigar for 2022

Hi, and welcome to another episode of Mondays with Mardo's. I'm Gerard and this week, we're going to talk about 2022's hottest boutique brand to come out of Honduras. All right. We all know that boutique brands are popping up everywhere and some of these guys are killing it in the industry. Nicaragua is definitely producing some very cool stuff, we got RoMa Craft coming out of there, so many other cigar brand names I can't remember right now, especially the Dominican Republic. But a new kid on the block is Honduras. They're definitely coming out with some really cool stuff. I know that the Eiroa family has their farms down there and Alec Bradley has some cigars down there as well being produced as well as Rocky Patel. But when it comes to a boutique cigar brand, I'm definitely going to shed some light on Cavalier Genève. The owner is Sebastian Decoppet and with his beautiful counterpart, she's always also involved.
And I can never say her name correctly. I believe it's Eileen. Anyways, this cigar right here is the Cavalier Genève Black and this is a limited edition Salomon cigar and the stamp that has a gold diamond on it is definitely a giveaway, knowing that this is the Cavalier Genève. One of his newest projects is the Viso Jalapa. He does have a little bit of Viso in the blend here, giving you a little bit more flavor coming out of Nicaragua, playing with some Jalapa stuff. So to us, we believe Cavalier is doing a heck of a great job in the US. This basically started out in Switzerland, so it had predominantly benefits to the market of Europe. But as of recently, in the last few years, he's hit the US market and he's killing it in a boutique cigar brand. So congratulations for you guys. I believe, for 2022, this is going to be one of the hottest boutiques cigar brands to come out of a Honduras, showcasing us what Honduras is capable to do and they've come out with some fantastic tobaccos.
