Cigar Guide - Dominican Cigar Brands You Need to Try
13th Jul 2020
Hello, and welcome to another episode of Mondays with Mardo's. My name is Gerard. Today we're going to kick off our series of cigar brands you have to try. We're going to begin with cigars from the Dominican Republic. But before we begin, I need you to click on the subscribe button and click on the bell to be notified every single week of new episodes of Mondays with Mardos.
Cigar Number 1
All right, so number one on the list is Jake Wyatt Cigar Company, truly boutique, out of Tamboril, Dominican Republic. U.S.I.R. is what I have in my hand. They also do have a Maduro. They have a Connecticut. They also do have a candela-wrapped cigar. So go to mardocigars.com, check them out. I love this cigar. If you're looking for an ultra creamy, very smooth cigar, then you're going to have to try a Jake Wyatt Cigar Company.
Cigar Number 2
Number two on the list from Davidoff is Back2Back, the Connecticut. This is a 5 x 50, one of our best sellers. Actually, if you follow us on Instagram, you can see we did a feature this week on this cigar. It's phenomenal for the money, best bang for your buck, you definitely want to go with the Back2Back from the Dominican Republic under Davidoff.
Cigar Number 3
Number three on the list, another great cigar company, Blackbird, coming out of Tamboril, Dominican Republic. I've actually had conversations with Demetrius, the owner of the company. This thing is a full-bodied cigar. It actually was surprising. Many people think it's from Nicaragua, but no, it isn't. It's from Tamboril, Dominican Republic, with a San Andres Maduro wrapper, full-bodied strength. This is the Crow line. Look for it on mardocigars.com. Beautiful cigar.
Cigar Number 4
Here is a cigar that is worth mentioning, Casdagli. So this is formerly known as Bespoke. But due to trademark issues, they had to change the name. The owner's last name is Casdagli. This is made by Klaas Kelner, which is Henrik Kelner's son, which was the master blender for Davidoff. This is made in the Dominican Republic. This is like a chef's special gourmet cigar, just phenomenal flavors, very well made. Look for it, Casdagli, spelled as it sounds on mardocigars.com. You will not be disappointed.
Cigar Number 5
Last but not least, the Last Cowboy Maduro made under La Aurora. This cigar is owned by Sinistro, one of my closest friends near and dear to my heart. Actually, two of them is Coleman and James Agopian, the owners of Sinistro. This cigar right here has a Connecticut broadleaf with a little bit of tiny tip of candela at the foot of it. So they do have it in many different sizes. This is a Lancero which was an exclusive that we got our hands on, only available on mardocigars.com.
