Let's start off with when to shop online versus brick and mortar.
Online Vs Brick and Mortar
Hey, we all want the best deal and online it gets so competitive on who has the best deal. It makes it very easy, but there is something to be said when you spend a little bit more money to go to your brick and mortar and you're supporting your local. Not only are you getting that face to face contact, but you're also, you're building that camaraderie when you get to use their lounge. But when it comes to buying online, you open the doors to many more brands out there that you cannot find at a brick and mortar. Now the boutique cigar industry has made a very strong foothold.
Boutique Cigars
A lot of these brick and mortars don't have these boutique brands as well as limited releases and very hard to find cigars. Now we're going to talk about where to shop online. There are many, many sites out there, but when it comes to cigars that you're looking for, especially boutique, limited releases and hard to find, a lot of these sites do not have them. So be sure to know what it is you're looking for and Google search the name of the cigar you're looking for, and then find a site that has it. So another tip when choosing a site to shop from, and this is a big one, is the shipping fee. It's all great when you're adding everything up and you looks like you're getting a very good price, until you get to the checkout point and you get hit with a big shipping fee.

So make sure you find a site that offers free shipping. Okay, so another thing to consider is customer service and attention to detail. Be sure that the site that you're ordering from utilizes Boveda and their five packs, and their single sticks that they're shipping out to you, as well as, are they emailing you tracking. So therefore, you'll know when your cigars get to your house in a timely fashion. So here's a trick. Don't forget to look for loyalty programs. This is a great way to save money and not have to wait or hope for a holiday or promotion to come up.
