Cigarettes vs Cigars
So we all know that nicotine is an extremely addictive chemical that is occurring naturally tobacco leaves. Today, we're going to take a look at how you absorb nicotine through smoking a cigar. So we're going to talk about cigars and other related products. In this case, we're going to use cigarettes as an example. When you smoke cigars, this smoke stays within your mouth and your nasal cavity, and that's how the nicotine is absorbed. However, when it comes to cigarettes, the smoke is inhaled within your lungs and you get a much deeper, higher concentration of nicotine, which makes it a highly more addictive than cigars. All right so we're going to talk about another aspect when it comes to cigars versus cigarettes, is the frequency.
Frequency
The moderate cigar smoker is going to have three to five cigars a week, whereas a cigarette smoker is going to have three to five cigarettes a day. Therefore making cigarette's a lot more addictive, not only because of the frequency, but also the concentrated amount of nicotine they're getting it within their lungs. So when it comes to cigar smoking, I think we're a little bit more on the safe side. However, we do want to do things in moderation here.
