Do you Inhale Cigar Smoke | Beginners Cigar Guide

22nd Aug 2023

I don't want to be coughing till the end of the earth.

Hi. Welcome to another episode of Mondays with Mardos. I'm Gerard, and this week we're going to get into the beginner's cigar guide. Do you inhale cigars is the question, but before I get going, I need you to click on that subscribe button. Click on the bell to be notified every single week of new episodes on Mondays with Mardos. So for the most part, no, we do not want to inhale cigar smoke. Cigars are completely different than cigarettes. The intention behind cigars is to relax, is to enjoy the flavors. It's not about getting a buzz. There are some men out there, and women, that will inhale a little bit of the cigar smoke if they want to. I personally, for the most part, majority of the people that I know do not inhale cigar smoke. Now, there is such a thing called the retrohale. When you do see an individual smoke a cigar, and then you'll see him push the smoke through his nasal cavity.

That is because it's called something retrohaling, and that allows us to have the aroma aspect of a cigar smoke, unlocks a lot of flavors that we'll not witness with just our mouth, because on our tongue we can only witness spicy, bitter, sweet and sour flavors. But through our nose, there's a lot of aromas that we can unlock within the smoke of a cigar. French inhale is another thing that I see some people do, but not really. I don't see that a whole lot. I see more of puffing and I see more retrohaling. I hardly ever see anybody that is really inhaling a cigar. So to answer your question, I don't inhale my cigar smoke. No, thank you. I don't want to be coughing until the end of the earth. But let me know in the comments if you inhale your cigars or not, I'm assuming No.
