What is this product?

Tatuaje's "The Face" cigars became famous for their distinctive use of an unevenly cut piece of Ecuadorian Connecticut tobacco, paying homage to the iconic movie monster Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw film series Massacre, known for wearing  human skin masks. Like  the Monster series' predecessors, "The Frank" and "The Drac", it comes in coffin-shaped boxes, decorated with red paint chips, imitating the appearance of blood. These special clothing boxes are limited to  13 retailers and are individually numbered, for a total of 666 pieces. Additionally, a more traditional  box of 10 was created for wider distribution, resulting in a total  of 21,658 cigars issued for "The Face".

 It should be noted that "The Face" marks the first instance of a modern movie monster appearing in Tatuaje Monster Series line. The first versions of the series were inspired by classic movie monsters such as Frankenstein and Dracula.  In September 2021, Tatuaje announced the re-release of the Monster Series cigars in their original order, called the "redux" edition. However,  two notable changes have taken place:

The cigars had new packaging and many more were produced. For example, while the original version of “The Frank” contained only 8,658 cigars, the redux version produced 65,000 cigars. Likewise, "The Drac Redux 2" arrived in stores in October 2022 with 4,000 boxes of 13 cigars each, for a total of 52,000 cigars, compared to 16,900 for the original version.

 Between the launch of the Monster Series and the launch of the Monster Series Redux, Tatuaje Monster Series introduced various expansions to the Monster Series. These include "Monster Mash", a sampler containing all versions of the Monster series in slightly shorter vitolas than the original. Additionally, there were  "Pudgy Monsters", "Little Monsters" and a trio of releases under the "Skinny Monsters" banner, such as  "Skinny Monsters Lanceros" and "Skinny Monsters Cazadores".
