In 2012, Jeremy was fortunate enough to meet Don Olman at the Vegas Santiago factory, now known as Tabacos de Costa Rica, atop the hills of Puriscal. The Villa Casdagli Line blends are a testament to Don Olman's "mejorado" process, an additional fermentation process that takes up to four months in a "pilon". Through this expensive time-consuming endeavour and labor, these exquisite tobaccos from Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Peru have become further enriched.
