The Basilica Line is a tribute to the great patriarch of the Casdagli family, Emmanuel Casdagli, whose portrait adorns its cigar band. The term basilica derives from the ancient Greek word meaning “Royal House” and stands as a reflection of Emmanuel's Villa Casdagli. The creation of The Basilica Line was sparked by Casdagli Cigar’s Saudi Arabian clients, who sought a cigar blend that would pair well with traditional Arabic cuisine that is often filled with citrus flavors and teas. The unique 'flared' shape of The Basilica Line cigars helps lead smokers seamlessly into its full-bodied flavor while softening the intensity so that it is perfect for an after dinner smoke experience.
