Foundation Aksum Maduro Toro (aka Metapa)

Formely known as Metapa Cigars. Due to whatever happened behind closed doors, Foundation found it necessary to change the name of this amazing cigar. Fear not ! The blend is still the same. The only change is just the name.

Aksum Maduro cigars utilize the same blend and sizes as the previous Metapa. For the Aksum Maduro cigar, a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and all-Nicaraguan fillers from the regions of Estelí and Jalapa. Finished as a box press and a pigtail out of the acclaimed AJ Fernández factory in Nicaragua, Aksum Maduro boasts a medium-full profile, hitting notes of rain-soaked hardwoods, sweet molasses bread, toasted nutmeg, and burnt caramel through the finish.
