In its latest limited edition, E.P carrillo pledge adopts a patriotic theme that takes its name from the company's two existing product lines. Cigars are called E.P. Carrillo Pledge of Allegiance 2023 is his 6 x 54 Toro with Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Connecticut seed binder grown in Ecuador, and fillers sourced from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and the USA.
This is the first time the company has used a blend of two of his US tobaccos as part of a filler. The price is $20 per cigar and production is limited to 1,776 cases of 10 cigars, according to Lysette Perez-Carillo. The cigars will go on sale ahead of the 4th of July holiday. Beyond patriotic ties, this cigar combines the names of two existing E.P. Carrillo Cigar Line: Pledge and Allegiance.
Selim Hanono is the former Chief Operating Officer of E.P. Carrillo is credited with inventing this name.

In keeping with the American theme, the blend contains a high percentage of American tobacco. The wrapper is a Connecticut broadleaf, the binder is a Connecticut seed grown in Ecuador, and the filler is a blend of tobacco from the United States, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
The sparkling American-style ribbon is richly embellished in a patriotic palette of red, white, and navy with a white star ribbon at the top. The cigars are limited to just 1,776 boxes, marking the year the United States signed the Declaration of Independence and gained independence from Britain.
