What is this product?
The Tatuaje Mummy Monster Redux 5 is the latest installment in Tatuaje’s iconic Monster Series Redux project, arriving in early October. Like the original 2014 release, this cigar is a 7 1/2 x 47 Churchill vitola, crafted as a Nicaraguan puro and highlighted by a criollo wrapper. Pete Johnson, Tatuaje’s founder, once described the blend as a cleaner-looking version of the Black Label, with its larger size imparting a unique twist to the flavor profile. Produced at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, this redux stays true to the spirit of the legendary Mummy while offering collectors and fans a new chance to experience it.
Why this product?
Production is strictly limited to 5,000 boxes of 13 cigars (65,000 total). Of these, 666 boxes are sequentially numbered, 34 are marked with “XX” for special allocation, and the remainder are unnumbered. Priced at $13 per cigar, this release is one of the most anticipated in the Monster Series Redux lineup. The Monster Series, first launched in 2008 with “The Frank,” has become one of the most collectible and successful limited-edition projects in cigar history, with each release inspired by legendary monster characters. Redux 5 not only revives The Mummy but also marks the 100th commercial release in the Monster family, cementing its place in cigar lore.
Who can buy this product?
This cigar is tailored for collectors of the Monster Series, Tatuaje loyalists, and seasoned cigar smokers who appreciate rare, full-bodied Nicaraguan blends. With its limited production and historical significance, the Mummy Redux 5 is a must-have for aficionados who value heritage, scarcity, and the thrill of owning a piece of cigar history. Whether for smoking or collecting, this release will not be available for long.
