Beginner Cigar Guide - Dominican Cigars You Have to Try
28th Feb 2022
Hi, and welcome to another episode of Mondays with Mardos. This week, we're going to talk about a sampler I put together that is solely from the Dominican Republic. So stay tuned. But before I get going, I need you to click on that subscribe button, click on the bell to be notified every single week of Mondays with Mardos.
All right, so I'm super excited about this sampler because it is from the Dominican Republic. I understand Nicaragua has been the forefront for a lot of boutique brands, but Dominican Republic has been on the rise, and therefore I'm going to go over to the sampler real quick.
The price is $70. It is available on mardocigars.com. The product number, I have a little cheat sheet here, 3453. Product number 3453, $70. From the factory of Jose Dominguez, Oliver has come out with a cigar called United. This is a box best cigar, has fantastic flavors, and it has a best bang-for-the-buck type of attitude. So look for the United cigars within the sampler.
Of course, we have our own brand called Jake Wyatt Cigar Company. This is the Appendix II. This is a Connecticut wrapper from Ecuador, and it's the corona. This thing in the morning on a clean pallet will sizzle you to death. I'm telling you guys, this is a cream bomb. It is fantastic.
Now my main man over here, we have is Caldwell Cigars. This is the Lost & Found. This is the ... I'm so excited, I can't even say it. This is the Cream Pepper Soda, or Pepper Cream Soda. Excuse me. Anyways, everything's on the website. It's in the description. I'm just salivating. I'm super, super excited. Caldwell has been a fantastic new friend of mine that I've been enjoying hanging out with.
This guy, I'm going to chop up his name, but it's called F.Q. Fernandez Quiroga, Quiroga. Anyways, Matt is part of the family, and he does the distribution for it here in the United States. The cigars themselves have a three to four year aged wrapper, truly a fantastic cigar, very, very small, very boutique. It's within this sampler as well.
Now, Jonathan Fiant ... called the J. London. J stands for Jonathan. The reason why he chose London is because Jonathan, before he even got into the cigar game as a manufacturer, he loved to travel all over Europe and he would always find himself in London. He loved London, and he still does. So he wanted to represent the country that he loves most. So he came out with a cigar called J. London. This is made out of the factory of A.D. Ventura, and it's in the Dominican Republic as well. Look for it. These things run like $19 a stick. So anyways, I included it in the sampler and made a little tiny discount adjustment for it. So it's $70 flat plus free shipping.
Coming out of the Dominican Republic, I'm super excited. We're coming at you guys from the Dominican Republic. We're going to come up with some awesome boutique stuff for the year 2022.
Anyways, let me know in the comments what you think of the new stuff coming out of Dominican Republic that is really boutique. You see that. Anyways, see you guys next week. Remember to follow us on Instagram, like us on Facebook, and remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel. Peace.
