What is this product?
The Nub México 464T is a short-format torpedo crafted by Oliva Cigar Co. exclusively for the U.S. market. Measuring 4 inches by 64 ring gauge, this stout cigar features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper surrounding Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The 464T brings the distinctive character of Mexican tobacco to Nub's signature compact proportions, combining the brand's recognizable short-cigar philosophy with a tapered torpedo head. Presented in 24-count wooden slide-lid boxes, the Nub México 464T began arriving at U.S. retailers in October 2026.
Why this product?
The Nub México 464T represents a meeting point between two celebrated tobacco-growing traditions. The Mexican San Andrés wrapper delivers earthy, robust character, while the Nicaraguan core tobaccos add depth and complexity. The torpedo shape focuses the blend's flavors through the tapered head, offering a more concentrated draw than traditional parejo formats.
What makes this cigar particularly interesting is how it applies Nub's core concept—delivering a cigar's sweet spot from the first puff—to Mexican tobacco. The 4-inch length and substantial 64 ring gauge mean you reach the blend's fullest expression quickly, without the long commitment of a traditional corona or robusto. It's Mexican San Andrés tobacco on Nub's terms: bold, immediate, and built for the moment.
Who can buy this product?
The Nub México 464T is designed for adult premium cigar enthusiasts (21+) who appreciate Mexican tobacco and value a shorter smoking experience. If you're drawn to the earthy, robust profile of San Andrés wrappers but prefer a 30- to 45-minute smoke over a longer session, this torpedo delivers. The substantial ring gauge and concentrated format make it ideal for experienced smokers who know what they want and don't need an hour to get there.
This cigar fits naturally into moments when time is limited but the desire for a full-flavored experience isn't—a morning break, an after-lunch pause, or an evening when you want bold character without a lengthy commitment. It's a U.S.-exclusive release, so it also appeals to collectors and Nub enthusiasts looking for something distinct within the line.

Storage and Handling
Ideal Humidity Range
Store your cigars between 65% and 70% relative humidity for optimal flavor, burn consistency, and structure. This range prevents cracking, swelling, and uneven combustion.
Temperature Matters
Keep cigars between 65°F and 70°F (18°C–21°C). Excess heat can damage oils and increase the risk of tobacco beetles, while cold environments can affect burn performance.
Stability Over Perfection
Consistency is more important than hitting an exact number. Sudden humidity swings can damage wrappers and affect draw. A stable environment protects your investment.
Recommended: 2-Way Humidity Control
For effortless maintenance, we recommend Boveda 2-Way Humidity Packs (65% or 69%) to maintain consistent humidity with no refilling, no monitoring stress, and no over-humidifying.
