The Queen Is Dead Bloodroot is a 7.75 x 40 vitola from Caldwell Cigar Co., developed by Robert Caldwell alongside William Ventura. This long, slender expression features an H2000 wrapper over a Sumatra binder and Dominican fillers. The blend was created around balance and harmony, delivering a medium-bodied profile where each component contributes without overpowering the others. Robert Caldwell has described The Queen Is Dead as the cigar he has been most excited about since the original Long Live The Queen.

Why this product?

The 7.75 x 40 format creates a higher wrapper-to-filler ratio than larger ring gauges, making Bloodroot an especially compelling choice for smokers interested in experiencing more of the H2000 wrapper's influence. Its long, slender dimensions put the wrapper front and center, allowing you to appreciate the nuances of the leaf throughout the smoke. The blend's focus on balance means each component contributes its part without overwhelming the others—a thoughtful approach to construction that rewards attentive smoking.

Caldwell specifically points to fans of Long Live The Queen and Anastasia as smokers who should find plenty to enjoy in this new blend. For those who appreciate elegant, smaller-ring-gauge cigars, Bloodroot may be the standout size of the collection.

Who can buy this product?

This cigar is for adult premium cigar enthusiasts, 21 and over, who appreciate wrapper-forward smoking experiences and the elegance of smaller ring gauges. If you're drawn to long, slender formats that showcase the leaf, or if you've enjoyed Caldwell's Long Live The Queen or Anastasia releases, Bloodroot offers a medium-bodied profile built around balance and craft. It's an excellent choice for smokers who value nuance over power and want to explore how vitola shapes the smoking experience.

The Cavalier Genève Small Batch Lancero 2026 is part of Cavalier Genève's redesigned Small Batch Program, created to showcase exceptionally difficult-to-produce vitolas and a new blend inspired by the brand's original White Series. For 2026, Cavalier moved away from continuously producing its specialty Lancero and Salomon formats. Instead, the Small Batch program focuses on one Lancero and one Salomon, produced in only two restricted production runs per year.

The Lancero is a notoriously demanding format to produce, requiring precision in bunching and rolling to achieve the proper draw, combustion, and balance throughout its long, slender shape.

Why this product?

This release is about craftsmanship, limited production, and the smoking experience unique to a Lancero. The narrow ring gauge creates a different wrapper-to-filler ratio than larger formats, allowing the blend to express itself differently while putting even greater emphasis on construction.

Cavalier Genève specifically redesigned its Small Batch program around these challenging specialty shapes rather than treating them as regular-production cigars. With only two Small Batch production runs planned each year, the 2026 Small Batch Lancero offers enthusiasts an opportunity to experience a more specialized side of Cavalier Genève.

Who can buy this product?

The Cavalier Genève Small Batch Lancero 2026 is ideal for experienced cigar smokers 21 and over, Cavalier Genève fans, Lancero enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone who appreciates limited-production boutique cigars and technically demanding vitolas. If you're someone who specifically seeks out Lanceros and appreciates the craftsmanship required to make them correctly, this is a release worth adding to your humidor.

The LCA Vault AJ Fernandez Scrooge Lancero is a limited Nicaraguan puro blended by AJ Fernandez, presented in a classic 7 × 40 Lancero format. It features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over a Jalapa binder and Estelí filler tobaccos. Originally released in April 2025, these cigars are part of the original finished allocation that remained in LCA's cellar, where they've aged an additional 1 year and 5 months beyond their initial release. This is not a new production—it's the same original Scrooge release, now offered through The LCA Vault with extra age.

Why this product?

Scrooge delivers a dynamic flavor journey that showcases what the Lancero format does best—amplifying wrapper character while revealing layers of complexity as the cigar evolves. The profile opens with an intriguing mix of spicy honey and graham cracker, followed by red pepper bite, apricot-like tang, and an unusual touch of sesame oil. As it develops, the experience becomes richer and creamier, bringing forward cream, cedar, and mocha. The final act introduces a building cinnamon heat reminiscent of Fireball candy before settling into a finish dominated by aged cedar.

With AJ Fernandez behind the blend and over a year of additional cellar time, this is a chance to experience a piece of LCA history that benefits from extended rest. Once the remaining Vault allocation is gone, it won't return.

With more than four years of additional aging in controlled cellar conditions, the tobaccos have had time to marry and mellow, adding layers of complexity and smoothness you won't find in a fresh release. The elegant Lancero format showcases the wrapper's influence while allowing the unique filler blend to shine through at every stage of the smoke. This is a rare chance to experience a limited-edition cigar that's already done the hard work of aging for you.
