What is this product?
Powstanie SBC 26 is the latest limited-edition release in the brand's Surrounded by Champions series, handcrafted at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Nicaragua. This 5½ × 46 Corona Gorda features Powstanie's signature off-center barber-pole presentation, combining Ecuadorian Sumatra and Mexican San Andrés wrappers over a Brazilian Mata Fina binder. The filler brings together tobaccos from five countries: Dominican Piloto Mejorado Ligero alongside Nicaraguan tobaccos from Condega, Estelí Viso, and Pueblo Nuevo Ligero — all from the 2021 crop. This marks the first time Powstanie has disclosed Dominican tobacco in an SBC blend.
Production is extremely limited to just 500 boxes of 20 cigars — only 10,000 cigars total.
Why this product?
The SBC series has always been about ambitious blending and distinctive presentation, and SBC 26 delivers on both fronts. The dual-wrapper barber-pole construction creates a dynamic interplay between the earthy richness of Mexican San Andrés and the refined spice of Ecuadorian Sumatra. Underneath, the Brazilian Mata Fina binder adds a layer of sweetness and depth, while the five-country filler blend offers complexity that evolves throughout the smoke — think leather, cedar, pepper, and subtle cocoa notes woven together with balance and craft.
This isn't a cigar built for mass appeal. It's built for smokers who appreciate what goes into a thoughtfully constructed blend and who understand that limited means limited. When these 10,000 cigars are gone, SBC 26 is gone.
Who can buy this product?
Powstanie SBC 26 is for adult premium cigar enthusiasts (21+) who seek out distinctive, limited releases and appreciate the craft behind multi-country blends. If you're drawn to medium to full-bodied cigars with layered flavor and visual personality, this one's worth your attention. The Corona Gorda format offers a solid hour-plus smoke, making it ideal for an evening on the patio, a weekend celebration, or any moment when you want something that stands apart from the everyday rotation.
SBC releases don't come around often, and they're created for smokers who value tobaccos with provenance, blends with intention, and cigars that refuse to look or smoke like everything else on the shelf.
