What is this product?
The Nub México 460 is a short, thick premium cigar from Oliva Cigar Co. that brings Mexican tobacco into the Nub family. Measuring 4 inches by 60 ring gauge, it features a dark San Andrés Mexican wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Handmade by Oliva, these cigars come packaged in wooden slide-lid boxes of 24.
This is Nub's signature format — short and stout — designed to deliver the blend's full character from the first light. The 460 vitola puts the Mexican wrapper front and center while maintaining the proportions that made Nub instantly recognizable in humidors across the country.
Why this product?
San Andrés tobacco brings a distinctive earthiness and richness that sets this Nub apart from the line's other expressions. The Mexican wrapper adds deep, earthy flavors with natural sweetness and a touch of spice, all supported by the Nicaraguan core tobaccos that provide balance and body. In the Nub format, you're getting straight to the heart of the blend without a long warmup.
This is a cigar built for efficiency and flavor. The 4 x 60 size means you're in the sweet spot immediately, experiencing the full interplay of wrapper and filler from start to finish. It's a format that respects your time while delivering a complete smoking experience — ideal when you want rich, satisfying flavor without committing to a longer session.
Who can buy this product?
The Nub México 460 is for adult cigar enthusiasts aged 21 and over who appreciate bold, earthy flavors and the practicality of Nub's short format. If you're drawn to Mexican tobacco's distinctive character or you're already a fan of San Andrés-wrapped cigars, this is a natural fit. It works equally well for experienced smokers looking for something different in the Nub lineup and for those newer to premium cigars who want to explore Mexican leaf without a major time investment.
This cigar shines during shorter smoke breaks, after dinner when you want something substantial but not lengthy, or any time you're looking for full flavor in a compact package. It's also an excellent choice for cooler weather when you want richness and body without spending an hour outdoors.

Storage and Handling
Ideal Humidity Range
Store your cigars between 65% and 70% relative humidity for optimal flavor, burn consistency, and structure. This range prevents cracking, swelling, and uneven combustion.
Temperature Matters
Keep cigars between 65°F and 70°F (18°C–21°C). Excess heat can damage oils and increase the risk of tobacco beetles, while cold environments can affect burn performance.
Stability Over Perfection
Consistency is more important than hitting an exact number. Sudden humidity swings can damage wrappers and affect draw. A stable environment protects your investment.
Recommended: 2-Way Humidity Control
For effortless maintenance, we recommend Boveda 2-Way Humidity Packs (65% or 69%) to maintain consistent humidity with no refilling, no monitoring stress, and no over-humidifying.
