What is this product?
The HVC Hot Cake Fresh Out the Oven Broadleaf Gladiators is a limited-edition box-pressed figurado measuring 6½ × 56, crafted with a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos sourced from Jalapa and Estelí. This full-bodied Nicaraguan cigar expands the popular Hot Cake Broadleaf line with a distinctive shape designed to showcase the blend's rich character. Production is strictly limited to just 500 boxes of 25 cigars—only 12,500 cigars worldwide—making this a rare release for collectors and boutique cigar enthusiasts.
Why this product?
The Gladiators delivers the signature richness HVC's Hot Cake Broadleaf blend is known for, with layers of tobacco sweetness, earthy complexity, and a smooth finish that unfolds beautifully through the box-pressed figurado format. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper brings depth and natural sweetness, while the carefully selected Nicaraguan tobaccos from two of the country's most respected growing regions add structure and balance. This isn't just another vitola—it's a thoughtfully crafted expression that lets you experience familiar Hot Cake character through a new lens.
With such a small production run, the Gladiators offers something genuinely special: a chance to explore a beloved blend in a format that won't be around for long. It's the kind of release that reminds you why boutique cigars matter—limited, intentional, and built for the smoker who values craft and rarity in equal measure.

Storage and Handling
Ideal Humidity Range
Store your cigars between 65% and 70% relative humidity for optimal flavor, burn consistency, and structure. This range prevents cracking, swelling, and uneven combustion.
Temperature Matters
Keep cigars between 65°F and 70°F (18°C–21°C). Excess heat can damage oils and increase the risk of tobacco beetles, while cold environments can affect burn performance.
Stability Over Perfection
Consistency is more important than hitting an exact number. Sudden humidity swings can damage wrappers and affect draw. A stable environment protects your investment.
Recommended: 2-Way Humidity Control
For effortless maintenance, we recommend Boveda 2-Way Humidity Packs (65% or 69%) to maintain consistent humidity with no refilling, no monitoring stress, and no over-humidifying.
