The name is a combination of ‘Crowned Heads Court’ and Van Halen’s “Eruption,” as the blend was inspired by the blistering instrumental. “I listened to that solo and saw it as a sonic metaphor for smoking this cigar,” said Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads. The Serie E blend marries tobaccos from Nicaragua’s Jalapa, Ometepe, and Pueblo Nuevo regions with an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper and the flavors – like Eddie’s guitar playing – are something to behold.
