The CroMagnon Aquitaine line is one of the core products of RoMa Craft Tobac. Introduced in 2012, the line is a variation on the company's original line, CroMagnon Aquitaine uses similar binders and fillers to the original CroMagnon Aquitaine, the only difference being that Aquitaine replaces the Connecticut broadleaf with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The rest of the mix uses binder from Cameroon and its’ three fillers from Nicaragua. The names Cro-Magnon and Aquitaine pay homage to early humans. The mandible takes its name from the 4 1/2 x 60 Petit Gordo offered in both the Cro-Magnon and Aquitaine lines. There was also a savory character present in the main notes. As the cigar experience progressed, the natural tobacco and spicy notes faded into the background while woody notes joined the coffee notes in the foreground. Spicy notes increased in the second half of the mandible. The aroma of Aquitaine Mandible was moderately strong and balanced. The cigar has a nice draw.
