For the past 15 months or so, Jonathan Fiant of J. London Cigars has drawn inspiration from the iconic London telephone booths for his cigars, a series of small batch limited editions that come with stickers of those booths in various colors.
Now, for his newest series, he is introducing a new character called Mr. London.
The first cigar was blended with Eladio Diaz and features a corojo 99 wrapper of undisclosed origin, a Mexican San Andrés binder, and a filler that includes piloto cubano, habano 92, habano 2000, HVA, and criollo 98, though where that tobacco comes from has not been disclosed. Diaz produced the cigar at his factory, Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera, in the Dominican Republic. Fiant said that cigars have been aged for a year after they were rolled.
It is being offered in a 5 1/2 x 54 vitola that Fiant calls a “super robusto,” and it will be offered in a box of 10 cigars. Production is limited to 400 boxes.
