Caldwell Cigar Company has released a small number of special editions of Caldwell Blind Man's Bluff Robusto entitled 'This Is Trouble'. The 5 x 52 Robusto was launched last year and uses a completely different blend than the regular Blindman's Bluff and other regular production versions. Specifically, a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Dominican binder and his three different inserts. Dominican Corojo, Dominican Double Ligero, and Habano seeds are grown in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Last year's launch was limited to 1,000 boxes of 20 cigars, but in 2022, only 200 boxes will hit stores. Robert Caldwell told us that the company's Miami warehouse had 200 boxes when a fire broke out at Tabacalera William Ventura Factory. Only 200 boxes already shipped to Miami survived as the fire damaged the factory's cigars.
The sale of the Caldwell Robusto cigar is restricted to individuals who are of legal age to purchase and consume tobacco products in their jurisdiction.
