Cigar Guide - Hot New Cigars to Look for in 2022
7th Feb 2022
Hi, and welcome to another episode of Monday's with Mardo's. I'm Gerard, and on this week's Cigar Guide, we're going to talk about the hot new brands to look for in 2022. But before I get going, I need you to click on that subscribe button, click on the bell to be notified every single week of new episodes on Monday's with Mardos.
All right, in this week's Cigar Guide, on the hottest new brands we're going to talk about, obviously want to keep it very boutique, but in no order of any fashion, the first cigar I'm going to talk about is from Powstanie, and it's the SBC 20. SBC stands for "Surrounded by Champions," and 20 stands for the year of 2020. This cigar was obviously due in 2020, but due to COVID, things were really, really put in a back burner, so it's just now coming out. And the reason why it's still dated 2020: this cigar is made every two years. The first year it came out was in 2016, 2018. And in 2020, again, is just now coming out. So it's been since 2018, we're waiting for this cigar.
Now at 2022, I am just really, really ecstatic that this cigar's going to come out. It is a five and a half by 46. It is going to have a Mata Fina wrapper on it. The only downfall it is truly limited. Only 250 boxes coming out, and it's a box of 20. You can pre-order it; 5737 on MardoCigars.com. Now, the second cigar that I'm obviously going to be very excited about, it is our personal blend here at Jake Wyatt Cigar Company, the Lithium Lancero. It is a seven by 38 ring gauge. It is a box of 22. And pre-orders are not set yet, but this cigar will debut in about four to six weeks, so look for it. Jake Wyatt cigars in the Lancero size.
The other cigar that I keep hearing very, very good things about is Paladin de Saka. This is a Sin Compromiso cigar. It is a Churchill size, a size that was never introduced in a Sin Compromiso portfolio. But I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about it at TP 2022. I had some guys that were sampling it, and they were, "Dude, it is one of the best Sin Compromiso's" they've ever tried. So look for the Paladin de Saka.
And the last cigar I definitely want to mention is no one other than Lorenzo from HVC. He's got the La Rossa coming out with a new wrapper. It's going to be a Sumatra wrapper, and it's going to come from Bronze El Titan, if I'm saying that factory correctly. It is out of Miami, so it's going to be a stateside cigar. And gosh, I think only 500 boxes going to be produced, so that's going to be also super limited.
These are the four cigars that you should be looking for that's going to be hot in 2022, at least within the first to second quarter. Other than that, let me know in comments what you think. And if there's any cigars that you'd like to be putting your hands on, put it in the comments. My name is Gerard. I'll see you guys next week. Remember to follow us on Instagram, like us on Facebook.
