My Cigar Factory Tour | Cigar Guide
13th Feb 2023
Hi, welcome to another episode of Mondays with Mardo's. I'm Gerard, and this week we will go over my humidor and what cigars I like to smoke. We're going to take a little tour in my humidor, but before I get going, I need you guys to click on the subscribe button and click on a bell to be notified every single week of new episodes on Mondays with Mardo's.
Cigar tour with Mardo Cigars
Are you guys ready for a little tour? Come on, let's go. I smoke a lot of samples coming out of our factory. I have so many samplers, so where I keep it, I only have many left, but in this case, there's only one. Here it is, this is one of these cigars that I like to smoke, and as you can tell, I'm smoking one now. I only have one left. I'm still smoking it to see if it's something that I want to stamp the approval on it.
This rack, this top shelf, and this shelf right here, and as you can see, I stuff everything inside little boxes like this, and it's all inside. Oh, my goodness, this is a gift cigar to me, and I just dropped it, but it's all right. It didn't crack. It is a Rafael Gonzalez. It's an exclusive Asia Pacifico. Yeah, this is a Cuban cigar. It was given to me by a friend. It's from 2016. That's the kind of stuff that I like to smoke.
I have bags and bags of product over here. I have some Casdagli here, such as the Caminao and boutique cigar out of Miami. These cigars have been sitting here for at least two years. A lot of the stuff I smoke has quite a bit of age. Salomone from cavalier got a lot of yellowing on the cellophane. I have a Placencia Alma 14 when it first came out and the natural.
What else to find in our fabric?
All my cigars are safe in a very healthy environment. I have an H Upland. Here's a Street Taco. It depends on my mood of what I want to smoke. I don't even know sometimes what I'm smoking, but for the most part, I will know. There is a big bag right here of samples. There's a Cuban that I dropped. I am not one of those delicate, fancy schmancy humidor guys.
I have a Ramon Allones Spain exclusive, which a friend gave me. Other than that, if there's anything that I'm in the mood for, I just come in here and grab whatever I want. I'm very spoiled. I am an industry. I do work very hard. If I feel like having a Patoro, I just come in here, take a cigar out of the inventory, smoke it, and write it down so we'll know how to remove it.
That is the extent of my humidor tour, you guys. More than anything, I smoke a lot of Jake Wyatt test samples. I love our product. I smoke a lot, but I do have Opus, and I have Illusion Bull.
Did you know about Fonseca?
It's all over the place. I also have a Fonseca, made by my father. They bought the brand called Fonseca from the Dominican Republic, and then they rebranded it. A whole different cigar, but it's a fantastic stick. If I'm going to mute for that, I'll go and grab it. I usually walk around. Again, more than anything, I smoke a lot of test samples. Thank you for watching the tour of our walk-in Humidor tour. See you guys next week.
