Blended by José “Jochy” Blanco at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, the Villiger TAA 2021 is a box-pressed Toro Gordo, measuring 6 inches by 54 ring gauge. Outside of its Ecuador Habano wrapper, all the tobacco is from the Dominican Republic.
The Villiger TAA 2021 production is limited to a run of only 350 boxes of 20. According to the company, the cigar is medium in body.
This year’s release has a different blend than the company’s 2020 TAA exclusive, which earned 94 points in the October 13 edition of Cigar Insider.
