It features a Connecticut-grown Havana-seed wrapper sourced from Dunn & Foster—tobacco from the same crop used for the original Perez-Carrillo Pledge release in 2020. Beneath that wrapper sits a Mexican binder and a blend of Nicaraguan fillers from three distinct regions: Estelí, Condega, and Ometepe. Released in October 2026 following the Pledge Purple Toro, this robusto format offers the same celebrated blend in a shorter, slightly narrower presentation, packaged in elegant 10-count boxes.

Why this product?

What makes the Pledge Purple Robusto special is its connection to history and craft. The Connecticut Havana-seed wrapper carries the legacy of the original 2020 Pledge release, bringing a layer of story and significance to every smoke. The multinational blend—combining Nicaraguan complexity with Mexican and Connecticut character—is the work of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, a master blender whose portfolio speaks for itself.

The box-pressed 52-ring format gives the cigar a refined profile and a comfortable draw, offering a new way to experience the Pledge Purple blend.
